About Us
Welcome to the Eagle Hill Foundation.
Our retirement residences – located in Two Hills, Myrnam, and Willingdon – are inviting places where each resident’s comfort and safety is assured through 24-hours-a-day support, reliable building security, and emergency response systems in every room.
The Northern Lights in Derwent and Eventide Homes are self-contained units with on call maintenance.
Our common areas are welcoming spaces designed for socializing and relaxation. Here residents can read a book, watch TV, or take part in games. They may choose to hop on our wheelchair accessible van for a day out when planned, or take part in regular exercise classes designed to keep the body limber and the mind sharp. Games, cards and puzzles are abundant and you can choose what you prefer.
Eagle Hill Foundation is contracted by Alberta Health Services to oversee the operation of supportive, independent, and special needs care facilities that put the needs of seniors first. Home care services are provided at our Willingdon and Myrnam facilities while level 3 supportive living at Myrnam Villa provides seniors whose needs increase with an ideal place to transition to. Two Hills facility has Home Care Services provided by Alberta Health Services from early morning until evening when residents are usually ready to retire for the evening..
It’s all here at a place we’re sure you or your loved one will find comfort in calling home.
Eagle Hill Foundation is a not-for-profit organization proudly providing housing and hospitality services in Two Hills County since 1955. Our organization is municipally and provincially governed through a Board of Directors, who along with employees, are committed to providing high-qualify, affordable housing to seniors and to those challenged with the difficulties of living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

Mission
To deliver Relationship Based Care – a method of caring for and serving our elders which honours the sacred state of being present in each moment, developing a ‘knowing’ of their life experience so that the elder can feel securely connected to their environment and those who create it with them.
VISION
Here, is home. Warm and welcoming – where Residents direct each moment of their day. A house where emotional connections to the space, the neighbors, and the employees are nurtured. Here, in this home, we give honour to all who reside here while providing the highest quality of services.
VALUES
Knowledge – of each person, of the required skills for service, and of the Culture of Caring (I will describe this culture in a separate document).
Experience – each person sees the world through a unique lens. Their way of viewing challenges and potential solutions vary and bring value to the growth of the house and the residents.
Emotional Presence – this allows for the development of deep connection in the relationships shared in our household. Employees are encouraged to embrace the emotional experiences of the residents and to express warmth, kindness, compassion, and empathy.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Home is not a place; it is a feeling.
Residents direct each moment.
Emotional connections matter most
